Park School Home Schooling

Due to the coronavirus my school and many others have been shut down. Now my teacher sends my homework / school work to do at home. I have been also doing extra work like more maths and grammar in another book to cover up from missing school. Since I'm home all day I can spend time being awake late at night to play with my sister because normally when I come back from school she is going to sleep and she wakes up normally at 9. I go to bed a bit later because my mum says to. I kind of enjoy doing work at home but do miss my friends and teachers.

Year 3 Park School for Girls

In Year 3 we have 6 lessons in a day. We have maths every day. Our favourite subject as a class is Enrichment because we use the computers/laptops.

Our headteacher is amazing and very kind to us.

Being at home is very difficult because when I am doing my homework I think of my friends when I should be concentrating on my work. We are lucky the weather is so nice. I like playing on my bike in the garden. On the 26.03.2020 we were clapping for the NHS because they are helping people that have the coronavirus. We are trying to stay safe by staying home and washing our hands often. 

I hope I can come back to school very soon as I miss my friends and teachers.

HOMEWORK

When I go to park school for girls I feel like I will have a lovely exciting day. At the moment we are at home because of the coronavirus. I miss hot dinners a lot and also miss my friends and enrichment code club. I am also sad that we might not have any party bags and cake for my friends and teachers on my birthday. But I also like that I have pretend school at home every morning. I miss piano class too. I miss Mrs Clayden as my favourite lesson is dt and art and also miss maths work with Mrs Hirani. I miss my PE class too. Now I feel bored because everything is closed. We cannot go outside and also we cannot go to school. I hope my school will reopen soon so we can all have lovely and exciting days at school.

My blog during self-isolation

A normal day in my life while I work from home during the covid 19 isolation period. I wake up at 9am, a little later than usual. I have my breakfast. Instead of wearing my school uniform I wear my home clothes. I look at what the teachers have sent me. Then I make a list of what I need to do and order my timetable. Once I’ve done two pieces of work I take a break and eat my fruit. Afterwards I go in the garden and run around and play with my football. Next I carry on with my work. Two hours later I take a break and eat my lunch.
Then I finish my left over school work. I really enjoy marking my own work after I have done it, using a purple pen. My purple pen is like the teachers pen. When I finish my work I play with my baby sister or facetime the rest of my family. After this I then help my mum and dad make dinner and set the table. I really miss going to school and seeing my teachers and friends, it is more fun doing your work with others in your class. However, during this time at home the best part is my grandmother is staying with us because of scary covid 19. I go to sleep later than usual. Normally I go to sleep at 8pm but right now I my go to sleep at 10pm.
